Irvine vs Crevier vs Assael (Monrovia)

If someone had to choose one of the 3 solely to have the car evaluated and serviced (if need be) before the warranty expires which would be the best option?

Crevier - I was treated badly at Irvine & NEVER again will I go there. I have heard that Assael is not bad, but I give a HUGE thumbs up to Crevier!!

I remember a few threads in here bashing Crevier for all they're worth. Which wasn't much. Perhaps they've changed.

I've had good experience with Assael AKA: MINI of Monrovia when it came to warranty service/repair.

good enough in the sense that if i called and said i'd like a diagnositic run and any maintenance issues (brakes etc) taken care seeing my warranty soon expires i'll get a good result. or, should i try the my car is making a funny noise tactic and owe by the way are there any technical service orders due on it or recalls, etc?

2nd the L.B. vote.
We bought from there and have driven the 60 miles for service.
While Universal is 5 miles away, I don't go there unless its for something like wiper blades. Universal's service area/bays are less than professional.

Good enough that you could go in there and simply tell them your warranty is ending soon, and that you want the car looked over and any problems taken care of.

Just like any other business, the dealership is looking to make money, so if they can service your car under warranty and bill MINI, they will do so. Talk to service advisor Jim and he'll treat you well.

I bought my car at Nick Alexander, but when I had a problem with it after only 1200 miles, I called their service dept, they never answered their phone or returned my call. So I took it took to Assael on a Sat with no appt they took it in and fixed the problem.

I have had numerous warranty issues and John Slater and Jim at Assael, have always given me the best service. I highly recommend their service dept. Sergio one of their service techs is very meticulous when diagnosing and fixing a problem.

I also agree that John is another great guy to deal with at Monroiva.

I also have to agree that Nick Alexander BMW/MINI sucks the big one. Avoid Alexander like the plaque unless you enjoy horrible customer service and paying more than necessary.
