Just bought my 2004 MCS!

Just bought a 2004 Mini Cooper S. Six speed FTW!

Red with white top, 30,000 miles. Tan and black two tone interior, Harmon Kardon Sound System. I'm loving it! Nickname is cause I also have a Kawasaki ZX-6R and it's green so everyone calls me Gumby out here in Houston. Glad to part of the Mini Forums! Please, if you could give me some info about the car and mods I can start doing! With the One ball mod, does it affect the State Inspection Emission Test? Also, where can I get the stock toggle switches? I would like to add some LED's and want it to look stock on my dash. Only a few things wrong though, like the passenger speaker buzzes (they said if I bring it buy they will most likely fix it, but if not how much are the stock Harmon Kardon speakers?) Also a fog light is cracked. Thanks!

Welcome! I bought mine 5 months ago. Same deal with the harmon speakers so Id love to know as well.

As for the mods there is a TON of info on here. It IS addicting as you can see from my list in my sig. My car was bone stock when I bought it in late July

Id go with a reduced super charger pulley asap! Best bang for the buck in my experience

Enjoy!

Welcome to the MINI community.

I don't know what you are planning to put onto the Aux In, but if it's for an iPod, then you might be interested in Craven Speed's mounting system. It allows you to use the iPod controls with the unit mounted right behind your steering wheel, in easy view and easy reach. You can also easily detach the iPod to store it away from prying eyes or to take it out for a stroll. Here is a url for Craven's "Flex Pod" modular system (which alternatively allows you to mount up to four gauges around the tach over the steering column):

Hi, & welcome. After the pulley, think about a stiffer rear sway bar. Finally, seriously consider this http://www.minisonthedragon.info/index.html

Congrats!

I also have the Harmon Kardon system. I found this and it has some information about the buzzing and other really great stuff.

Thanks for all the info everyone! Looking to do the pulley but is there somewhere I can get it done? Just the lifting the engine parts seems a little out of my hand, I work at a motorcycle shop but we don't have anything that will support that much weight. I am still under 36,000 miles so Mini said they will replace the speakers. Champion Toyota (where I got it from) ordered the replacement fog light for me since it was crack when I bought it. I really like the Craven Speed iPod Mount! Thanks again!

I like getting stuff done to my car at the Dragon. I know the folks there really know how to do it right.
