Hey all,
I have a 2002 MCS with 64k miles and it is experiencing the following symptoms:
Rough Idle - missing, rev up the engine above 1000 RPM and it smooths out
Misses under moderate to hard acceleration - step on it too hard and it goes into limp mode
SES light ON
ESC light on occasionally, when like this the car runs terribly, also noticed when ESC light is on if you reset the MPG computer it resets to 99.9 mpg, shutting off and restarting the car will cause the ESC light to go off the the MPG computer to function normally
I checked the coil leads and plugs and wires, all look fine.
Any ideas?

Try using a can of Seafoam in the gas.

 

I'm not going to be much help, but I have a similar problem. It will idle fine but occasionally it will start to race but will smooth out if I tap the gas a bit
