I bought it on eBay and got it in a couple of days ago. I think it looks pretty cool...

It is actually from this company. Very nice quality and much nicer than I had expected.

Looks good! I might have to get one of those. How does it stick to the car, adhesive tape, magnet...?

I used the wide heavy duty 3M double adhesive tape. It has always worked well for me.

Neat!

I wonder who designed it? Cool design.

Thanks for the link.

(I wonder if the original owner's MINI finally died? )

I like it! Only 23,000 more miles and I'll reach the CenturyK mark... that's next year at the pace I'm going. At least the MINI will finally be paid off.

It's a brand new badge. I think that the seller that I bought if from on eBay is from the quality lapel pins place. They had lots of other badges for sale.

I was bidding on that badge and you beat me! I'm only at 56K but had planned to save it for when I reach that milestone.

Sorry about that! Maybe I can sell it to you when you hit 100K and have a 200K badge made for myself by then.

That's a great company. I've got a few badges from there. Is this a 1-off or part of a group buy? I'm far from 100k, but I'd like to know this would be around when I get there.

Also, I would love for MINI (or somebody) to do a 50th Anniversary badge.

Sweeeet! I went to the web site but the badge was not listed; searched ebay but nowhere to be found. I have 100K and would like to buy. Did they make this custom for you or is it a standard item, how much did it set you back?

If you look on their web page under "grille badges" you can see it in the picture with all the badges. Three down and three over from the top left. I got it on eBay for $32 plus shipping. I would just call them up and see how much it would be for the badge. I believe the bidding on eBay started at $25, so I can't imagine it being much over that directly.

I'm still wondering if that was part of a big run (here or at MINI2). Gary usually manufactures custom badges, but doesn't retail them.

He should. It sounds like there's starting to be quite a market for them.

I think it would be a great idea for him to make a bunch and advertise them for sale on NAM. I think they would go very quickly.
