Should I expect to receive other gifts? I suppose living to 60 is a gift in itself.

d-mini-ero Aug 26, 2003 05:54 AM

Much more important than the MINI...

HAPPY 60th

Peace,
D

Happy Birthday. At 60, you've aquired some patience, yes?

Jerseygirl Aug 26, 2003 06:27 AM

First of all, Happy Birthday!

And remember, good things come to those who wait. Anticipation can be good thing.

OK, that's a lie. Waiting sucks. I didn't even have to wait as long as some of you and it drove me nuts.

Here's hoping your car arrives earlier than expected!!!

May you have many more with your mini.

Happy 60th. You are now the same age as Mick Jagger (actually you've always been the same age as Mick). So strap on some curly locks, pull on a pair of too tight tights, and have a tuckus ruckus to "Paint it Black" and "Under My Thumb".

(Just don't post the pictures)

Cheers iwannamini, and congratulations on 6 decades completed.

Put another candle on your birthday cake,
You're another year old today!"

Happy Birthday Robert! Hey, when you do get your MINI, it will make you feel like your a kid again.

robby Aug 26, 2003 03:05 PM

Happy Birthday from me as well. I was going to say that it is nice to know that there are MCO folk older than me but Clover already said it. I was then going to say that you will feel 21 again when you get the car but I was beaten to that one as well. So, I guess the only thing to say is, Happy Birthday, Old Fart!!

resmini Aug 26, 2003 06:07 PM

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. I bought four Chili Red/White Cooper diecast. Three at Walmart and one at KB toys. They are 1/18, 1/24, 1/32 and 1/64 scale. I just sit and stare at them....it's getting worse

If you're looking for a diecast the detailed 1/18 scale is $15.00 at Walmart. Hard to find some colors but if you want CR/W there're likely to have it. Kids like red........

Pebbles Aug 26, 2003 06:27 PM

Iwann,
Thanks for the tip on the diecast cars! I'll check my Walmart this weekend! We also have a KB in the mall! -- the MINI I ordered is red so I'll love them!

If you're MINI is on the boat, you don't have long to wait!
If it were months away, you could be like me and spend allot of money on MINI items just to keep your mind busy while you wait!!

Have a great evening!
