R50/53 What's a good deal for an 02 S Coupe?
I paid 11K for my '03 MC last November. At the time it was about 1.5K below trade-in value, so I thought it was a good deal, even with 85K miles. If you add at least 1K for it being an S, and another 1-2K for the low mileage, something around 14K probably wouldn't be a bad price. The one caveat would be that it is an '02, which means it's the first year of the US model. I would say that 15K might be just a bit high, but then if it is in mint condition, then maybe it would be worth it. In the end, you have to feel good about it, so don't go for it if you're not excited at the prospect.
15k is a reasonable price for a well maintained MCS. But if it's private party try and talk them down to 14k if you can. If its a dealer you maybe also talk them down if you have cash ready.

true, i havent seen prices like that much at all, maybe for a MC but not an S, I just bought mine about a month ago and did a LOT of looking, for an S with 30K I think slickfast has got the numbers about right.
I got my MCS with 55k, perfect maintenance records for $14,250 a few months ago. 15-16k is about average asking price, but you can usually talk them down considering mine was originally listed at $15,500.
WOW, you guys are getting some great deals. The best I can find an 02-03 S for in the 60-90k mile range is $13-14k Of course that is the advertised price, I bet an individual would at least go 1,000 less and a dealer, maybe lower since that give so little for trade ins or at the auction.
