Well I am up in Stowe, VT for my yearly vacation. It feels great to have a MINI up here and motor on some good roads (should break 20k tomorrow). Here are a few pics I took on the way in today.

Believe it or not it looks just like the sugar cane fields in central Oahu between the two mountain ranges we have.
These might be corn fields?

Great country up there. My wife and I honeymooned there (among many other places) at Isle LaMotte.

You've got to go to Ben and Jerry's, even if the tour is lame, just to get some Cherry Garcia from the source! And the Alpine Slide at the top of the mountain?

Thanks for the compliments. I did have a nice ride up here and made good time eventhough Vermont's Interstates are not the smoothest.

There are allot of Cornfields up here. I did stop bt Ben & Jerry's yesterday. I always stop there on my way in. i will get some pictures of my Mini at B&J's.

Time wash the Mini and go for a drive.
Hmmm I need to take some Cow pictures today.

I Did see 1 cooper and 2 Cooper S's in Stowe VT today. And we took my brother's Ford in to town. DAMMMM

i am using a Nikon Coolpix 3100. I have the image quality set to 3.2 megapixels in most of the shots. I still need to figure more stuff out about this camera. I also brought my Cannon Eos rebel 2000 to take some pictures with.

It looks like we will have rain up here today

Aaaahhh! The Green Mountain state! I love it. I didn't get to go to the Trapp Lodge but did stop at the Ben & Jerry ice cream factory for a tour and tasting. Wonder if the Cherry Garcia flavor is still popular.


My heart says to hop into the car and drive to Vermont now, but my head says there are other commitments and responsibilities at home. Hey, maybe the Kancamagus highway to Mt Washington, NH, next year? Cape Cod MINI, are you listening?

That pond is up about a mile and a half East off of rte 100. Unfortunately it is on private land but I was able to take a few pictures and enjoy the view after I met the owner as she pulled out of her driveway. She told me about the view and how you can see Trapp Familly Lodge (I told that is where I am staying) and she thought my car was soo cute and perfect for her grand daughter.

Smugglers Notch is a real nice place.
Been there a few times Doug.... as my bro has one of those condo's on the mountain.
You can walk out the front door and ski..it's a great thing :smile:
