What's a dog's bollox? I see the decal all the time.

COOPERation Aug 21, 2003 11:47 AM

I believe it's actually the dog's bollocks and it means...excellent, the absolute apex...no doubt coined from dogs' habit of licking the aforementioned organs in preference to almost any other activity. from the Phrase Finder

Sidenote: Silver, can ya upload your sig to another location...thanks!

It's a British term. Like saying something is the bee's knees or the cat's pajamas.

Confused yet?

It used to look like it had balls from behind with the stock muffler hanging down  They've since been tucked up when I switched to Race Borlas

REDNECK territory here. A 'neck around my town hung something similar, very low, and put bolts into the bottom so they'd spark while draging on the road.

Truck nuts...

From http://peevish.co.uk/slang

dog's bollocks Noun. The best. E.g."This song is the dog's bollocks." Cf. 'cat's whiskers', 'bee's knees' and 'mutt's nuts'.

Interesting term. I guess it is appropriate for the MINI.

Why does a dog lick his bollox?

Minimad Aug 21, 2003 05:47 PM

Because he CAN!
