Hey CarterMD,
I'm looking at buying a car and I have the VIN, could you run it and let me know what you come up with? I'm somewhat hesitant on buying it because of the price (too low, not too high).

Thanks CarterMD,
I would have shown you more 'appreciation', except I'm still out-of-work, so it's all I could donate.
So I'm still weary about the used car I want to buy. The cost of the vehicle is low, under $3,500 (cdn). It's an '03 CooperS with the John Cooperworks package. The vehicle started off in California and was imported into Canada and is currently being sold in Ontario.
Carfax is showing that the vehicle is fully guaranteed against Salvage, Junk, Rebuild, Fire, Flood, Hail, Lemon, and was last registered with only 54k miles (not km) in 2006, and I think a dealer in California had possession of it as late as 2007.
So what does everyone think? Should I proceed? The only thing I can think of is that it hasn't passed all requirements to be licensed (ie. it can't be safetied) and that'll require extra $$$.
Oh, one more thing, the person I've been sending e-mails back and forth to is communicating to me from his/her hotmail account, and I think the originating IP from the last e-mail was in NJ.
