R50/53 Poll....How long did it take to get your mini (from the prod
I waited just under 3 months for my IB/W MC. Ordered in November, delivered 1/30 in Dallas. I had a blast waiting, learning all about MINIs. I also went nuts...but that's not gotten any better. IMO, the wait just makes the drive all the sweeter. Its kinda sorry, but I've really bonded with this car!!!!!
My first order (which ommited the leather is due to deliver week of aug 8th. My new order (with leather) is scheduled for delivery Sept 22nd. The dealer botched things up, but he was fast to re-order for me.......to 04 or not to 04 that is the question....I will probably wait for the 04, but who knows!!

Exactly 23 days. She got shipped like the day she got to the port. But the also ordered me two cars and the one that got to me first was the second one they produced. The other one was produced in June and didn't make it over here till like mid-August.
My MCS was built on 7/18, arrived at port on 7/22, scheduled to catch the Tokyo Highway on Aug 3 for an 8 day cruise getting into NYC on Aug 11. So if I wind up catching the boat and not getting bumped, it will be a minimim 24 days before getting to VPC and expect 2-7 days there.
I had a friend put an order in for a Cooper in early June and she took delivery on July 21st. Her entire process took less than 7 weeks.

4 hours....
Walked in , made offer, walked away, told them to call us... dealer called 3 hours later to tell us they took the offer, Signed papers, drove home
Now, tell me again, why did everyone wait so long?
