Burnie was "born" on March 20th and I picked him up April 30th in San Antonio Texas.

We got waitlisted and bumped on our first boat which cost us about a week.

When is your MINI due?

 

The production date was assigned on February 4, 2003, vehicle was produced on March 11 and I took physical delivery at Crevier MINI in Santa Ana on April 12.

 

I waited just under 3 months for my IB/W MC. Ordered in November, delivered 1/30 in Dallas. I had a blast waiting, learning all about MINIs. I also went nuts...but that's not gotten any better. IMO, the wait just makes the drive all the sweeter. Its kinda sorry, but I've really bonded with this car!!!!!

 

48 days from placing my order to delivery. :smile:

 

My first order (which ommited the leather is due to deliver week of aug 8th. My new order (with leather) is scheduled for delivery Sept 22nd. The dealer botched things up, but he was fast to re-order for me.......to 04 or not to 04 that is the question....I will probably wait for the 04, but who knows!! :smile:

Produced week of June 6, delivered July 23rd so about 7 weeks. The extra time was to ship it from the NY area to AZ otherwise, it would have been slightly less than one month.

Exactly 23 days. She got shipped like the day she got to the port. But the also ordered me two cars and the one that got to me first was the second one they produced. The other one was produced in June and didn't make it over here till like mid-August.

 

Built March 28; shipped April 11; arrived Port Hueneme, CA May 1; delivered to me in Fife, WA May 13.

 

My MCS was built on 7/18, arrived at port on 7/22, scheduled to catch the Tokyo Highway on Aug 3 for an 8 day cruise getting into NYC on Aug 11. So if I wind up catching the boat and not getting bumped, it will be a minimim 24 days before getting to VPC and expect 2-7 days there.

I had a friend put an order in for a Cooper in early June and she took delivery on July 21st. Her entire process took less than 7 weeks.

 

Ordered July 4th weekend (2002), built 1st week in August, delivered 2nd week in October. Of course, Alice did caught up in the whole "dockworkers aren't paid enough at $80,000 a year " strike thing, so he took a side trip to Mexico and changed ships there.
