Thought I would say hello and introduce myself
Just picked up my first Mini, 2005 MCS with 28k miles. In all honesty when the Mini's first came out I wouldn't say I disliked them but I certainly never pictured myself buying one. I recently bought a house and I need to commute 45 miles a day and my current SUV getting 12mpg was pissing me off so I started looking at new options. I came across a Mini and started looking into them and put them on my list of considerations. I finally went and drove one and WOW, I fell in love with the car. I started looking for only a Mini and since I only wanted to spend $15k I looked for a regular MC but came across a great deal on a 05 MCS. I called the dealer and told them I can bring them $15k cash tonight and they said no, so I asked what they were looking to get and after some negotiating I got the MCS for $16k with 28k miles on
. I took it into the BMW/Mini dealer by my house and they did the first service, second service, oil change, replaced the window blades, brakes, and belt
.
Now onto the pics...

I have been driving it to work the last week and I see this:

My last tank I got 516 miles before I filled up
I got 200 per fillup in my SUV
Cliffnotes:
I was blind
I saw the light
I purchased a sex machine
I get off driving to work

gotta ba a story there, not sure i dare ask...
Could he have bought the car that happen to be on that list and used the pictures they had, maybe from the used car dealer's site? How soon do craig's list things go down after a sale?
thw "honor system" of craigslist is that once an item sells you delete the ad. since they are not charging you anything for the ad, it is the honorable thing to do to help them conserve bandwidth. but, if you don't delete the ad will expire and get auto deleted in 7 days. either way his post was on the 12th and the CL ad was on the 13th. funny the ad is still there though. maybe it's cached.
