Can't get no satisfaction

Just got my MCS this summer, a bone-stock 04. I swore to myself I wasn't going to mod the heck out of it; just a reduction pulley and maybe the Dinan re-flash. But while I love the stock ride, I'm increasingly dissatisfied with the ride height.

I'm not lazy, I've been all over Mini Madness, Moss and Atlantic British. While they offer everything from Koni kits to simple springs, they're all much stiffer than stock. Are there any lowering kits out there that don't sacrifice the ride quality?

Any lowered setup will sacrifice some ride comfort. But many are minimal.

Hotrods are convenient because so many different springs with varying spring rates are available, especially for the Art Morrison chassis. My mentor just got softer springs to go on the rear of his '57 Chevy, which is what brought my question to mind. :) But the Minis definitely have limitations as far as suspension design. I was hoping someone could recommend a good kit that won't make my chiropractor too wealthy in the months to come.
