>> 2) those Hamann wheel really makes the Mini look like a Muscle Car .. no good ..

then wouldnt that work perfectly with the minis "bulldog" stance that mini has on their brochures?

Mighty - You troublemaker! I was doing good looking at Ants 2 choices. Then I get to your post and there's more and they all look really nice!

Ants - I do like the look of the white wheels. All of the white ones on this thread would look very good on a MINI.

I'm so glad the choice is yours!

I just purchased a set of OZ Chrono Evolutions and having them powder coated white. They look very similar to the one's you want antsmini and I think they look fabulous! While they may appear to look similar to the 5-spokes you have currently, there is a great difference in the details, go for it!

Hamman's a nice for show but way to bulky, heavy and expensive....

I'd consider them if I recieved them for free, but would not buy them.

I like some of Jesse James new wheels, but no one makes a good wheel 15x7.5

doug--the way i drive
i dont need to be fast or anyhint..thus weight doesnt concern me
i dont race
never had my car over 3500rpm
so for me hamanns are fine, since my mini either goes to meets or sleeps in the garage

they are expensive, just like a sl55 amg is expensive

How about some HRE's??? Assuming they come in the MINI bolt pattern and offset, and money's no object.

I am a product designer for a company called Scale Motorsport (actually I own the company)
Scale Motorsport is the 'Pep Boys' of the model car world, we design and market products for people that build model cars. Everything that happens in the real car world, occures in the model car world too, from New and Used Car Sales to aftermarket products, yup, from replacement 'windshields to leaky waterpumps and a whole lot more!
However, most of the products we develop are for Formula One, LeMans, and GT race car kits from 1/12th scale down to 1/43rd.
Check us out at:

I saw one at the mercedes dealer the other day, it was $120K I've seen a few on the road already too. I'd rather have an M3 or an M5 though.

Hank, your job sounds cool I want a job like that!

I like the stock wheels better actually, but it shouldnt really matter what I or others like, it's what you like! (although sometimes some cars should just be burned after what some do to them)

Hey Ants,

I don't know much about wheels, but here's what I came across. Sorry if these don't even fit for the MINI, I was just browsing through the net. Here's what I came across

This one I like the best since it's simple.

This is just a white wheel that I came across since I know you'll want to stay with the white.

Just trying to help.

Hey nfo,

you should put those on your car

They'd match perfectly, how much are they anyways?
