An antique mahogany secretary yesturday-actually it was an easy fit with plenty of room left over-the guy at the antique store was "no way" and was mighty impressed when it slid right in the back.

in my '06 mini i put in... 2 keyboards, 2 amplifiers (1 for keyboard, one for bass guitar), a guitar, and 2 keyboard stands as well as some music stands
in my '07 mini i have put 4 full size rolling suitcases, stuffed animals, a cooler full of drinks, a backpack full of snacks, a box of mini care products and other odd and end things all for MITM (I was gone a month)
on other occasions my mini was stuffed with numerous boxes that filled up the passenger seat, back seats, floorboards, boot and all the way up to the ceiling...
on another occasion it held a 65" flat screen tv stand that i'm currently trying to sell...
