Any chance you can post a picture? Or measure how far back that point is from the jack. Not clear to me...thanks!

I rotated half my tires today (too many distractions to finish, plus I was cleaning my no-longer-white wheels) but noticed something odd. I jacked up the car under the front jack point high enough to put in the rear jack, then used the subframe as a jack point to get the stand under the front jack point. That's when I noticed that the car was not even resting on the rear jack stand...it was hovering approx half-inch above with the weight entirely on the front jack stand. To lower the car I just pull out the rear stand, jacked the car higher from the back jack point until the front was high enough to pull out the stand, then lowered the car.

Anybody else notice this?

Yup, I noticed this shortly after I bought my MCS. I think it's just that the vehicle's structure is so stiff. I'm sure it's short wheelbase has something to do with it as well.

It makes for quick winter tire changeovers though! I basically just lift from the forward jack point w/ my floor jack until both wheels on one side are just barely off the ground. Swap wheels, lower vehicle - repeat on the other side.

Yep... also, it's so stiff that if you put it on four stands and set one stand 1 click lower than the others (so about 1/2") the car will hover above the lowest stand by at least 1/4"... that ain't much chassis flex, folks...
