R50/53 Blue and Blue or Blue and Black
#1
I am tyring to kick my girlfriend in the rear about colors and she has decided on Indi Blue with the sunroof, but cannot decide on a Black Top or Body Color Matching Top. If anyone has the configurations, could you just post pics of your cars here so i can show her the difference and maybe I can get this show on the road, FINALLY. If you know of somewhere else to find the pics, please let me know. The MINIUSA site isn't doing it for her, because it isn't an actual car.
Thanks

There is a picture of an all indi blue MCS on the first page of the Same color roof club thread. It's not mine, but I thought I'd post it here to help.

OK, I just got off the phone with my girlfriend and after having looked at the pictures on the post, she has decided on the BLUE/BLUE. Thanks to all for your posts with the pictures. We are going to Century MINI today to speak with our motoring advisor about the purchase. If we decide to buy the MINI from Century, I'll be sure and follow up to let you know what kind of service we received.

Cabbagetoe,
Good luck at Century MINI. I dealt with Linda Gresham and had a good sales experience. If you see her, tell her John "white bucks" Stines said hello. Their service dept is good, also.
I noticed in one post where you had an issue with dealer add-ons. Century does (or at least did) have a mark-up, but they sure can get you a MINI much quicker. Included as part of their mark-up are mats, window etching, and maybe some wax/cleaning supplies. I had my Mini Cooper S in two months from date of order. I was looking at 6 months at another dealer that then grew to 8 months, and that was just too long for me to wait.
Oh, and welcome to MCO.
See ya,
JS
