I have been lurking here since I ordered my MINI 5 weeks ago. To say I was waiting patiently, would be a gross exaggeration. I (like most you) check the MiniUsa tracking all the time (hourly could be a understatement.)

Needless to say, I have had more than enough time to get organized for the DAY.... Which I did, I got my loan from the bank. When I found out the MINI hit theU.S., I even put it on my insurance and "activated" my loan. That was 1 week ago. I got the wonderful news today, "Come and get your MINI".

Well, I CAN'T. It seems that the bank sent me a draft and not a check, and my dealership doesn't accept drafts (only checks.) Its not important who is right or wrong, (me, the dealer, or the bank), the problem is I do not have my MINI.

:oops: The moral for you: Unless you want to wait 4 more days after dealership arrival, make sure the dealer will accept your form of payment BEFORE the MINI arrives.
