I've may have been scammed

It appears that I may have been scammed. I offered to buy an extra tool-kit and tow-eye from a NAM subscriber. I paid through PayPal. Items have never been received, and the seller refuses to respond to my requests for status. I have opened a PayPal dispute. Anybody know anything about Roy Oto, e-mail address krapo@earthlink.net, NAM user-name MINI-FAST? Hopefully there is an innocent explanation, but I haven't received it yet.

Let the mods on NAM know too. If it is bogus, they don't want them on here.

Thanks; moderators please address. (And, please edit the typo in my title; thanks.)

How long has it been since you paid, or since you've had any communication from the person?

His e-mail address is "krapo" that doesn't seen like a good sign.

Follow through with the Buyer Dispute on PayPal. If he/she is not able to provide tracking for the item(s), then the dispute should be decided in your favor. Call 1-888-221-1161 to speak with someone at PayPal if you have any questions.

I agree that $5 is no big deal (although the guy also charged me $6 for shipping, so I'm out $11) but 'from the little acorn the mighty oak does grow.' Today's $5 scam is tomorrow's $50, so we all need to be on the alert.

As I said before, hopefully there is an innocent explanation for all of this.

The paypal dispute process can work. I have gotten money back with it before.

there's a US congressman named Mike Crapo from Idaho, and I once had a friend (last) named Krapo (KRAY-po) so it's not that unusual a name...
