It was actually on the car when I got it. Yes the flat part is carbon fiber.

 

wow normally i dont really like checkmate because they all come in that blue, but yours is the first exception in a while its GORGEOUS

Nope, they didn't ALL come in that blue. Personally, I really dig the Space Blue/Silver combo, but they came in other colors. I've seen several PS/B and PW ones, and I could swear I've seen a BRG one.

Thank you, after seeing yours (back when it was brand new) I knew I had to have the Checkmate package. Its nice to see that MINI went to a good home. It looks spotless!

 

VERY nice, especially like those seat graphics and the aero kit on a Checkmate. Is yours Space Blue or Astro Black? Looks darker than SB and those grilles set the aero kit off nicely.

And no, not all in Space Blue (though it's my favorite color), mine's Astro Black:

 

It's space blue. I love your side mirrors, I wish I had the patience to do that. It looks darker because I slapped on several coats of Menzerna FMJ after doing a full detail: Final polish 2, glaze, FMJ, P21s was able to get rid of the swirls.

 

Space blue is the best... come visit Pgh and we'll do your mirrors... cost you like $10 and some pizza.
