Can anyone run at a ProSolo event?

I am very new to AutoCross. I have only done 2 Solo events. I have a schedule conflict with an upcoming Solo event this Sunday however there is a ProSolo event on the Saturday before and I can make that. I care about seat time, not winning or even having my times officially recorded.

Are there any requirements for entering a ProSolo event?

The ProSolo event is a full weekend event, both Saturday & Sunday. Factor in Friday for tech, registration, course walks and any practice starts it is a quite a different animal than your typical regional autoX.

Although I'm always encouraging people to come out to national level events if you've only done two autocrosses before I might discourage you from attending a ProSolo. A Championship Tour or a Match Tour sure since they're pretty similar to a regular regional event just on a larger scale. Pros are quite complicated and there are a whole bunch of things that are different at a ProSolo event versus a local. You're also doing a lot of things you've never had to do at an auto-x event before like staging and launching which seems fairly simple until you're up there and the adrenaline is pumping. Unless you've been autocrossing for a little while a Pro would be pretty stressful and you'd probably feel "lost" most of the time.

If you had a co-driver who has done Pros in the past then that would be a good way to get into it because you'd have someone to hold your hand through the event. Another good alternative is the Evolution HoleShot school on the Friday before. They'll go over the whole ProSolo format and you'll do some practice starts. That will help you get up to speed but they don't/can't cover everything.

I have to say though ProSolos are an absolute blast and you'll get 12 runs over the two days.
