Audio Installer near Pittsburgh?

Hi guys I'm looking to change out the speakers in my '07 Cooper. (standard stereo) I'm looking to find an audio installer that would just do that if I provided the speakers? any ideas? Preferabbly somebody with MINI experience and not trying to sell me Amps, subwoofers etc. The few I've been to and looked at want ~$1500, with only some of the above, no sub.

You may just want to check with Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com), they usually have great instructions and frankly, speaker installation shouldn't be THAT big a deal - unless you're headed for custom sizes and placement, in which case I have no idea who can do that. Sorry!

Yeah, I usually do alot of stuff myself, but I'm no soldering guy and I hate the way all car doors are put together with the goofy clips and such, so I figure it's always better to pay somebody whose done something lots of times right, than spend lots of time learning to to do soemthing I'll only need to do once. Besides, I tried calling Crutchfield for some input on installers, all they do is give you a phone number for some hotline that needs a code to even refer you to somebody, weird!

Sorry, not an area I'm knowledgeable in. ...I'm also more on the DIY end of the spectrum... How soon are you looking to do this? I can put out some feelers.

Hello - I'm new to the Pittsburgh Mini scene, and I hate to drudge up old topics, but are there new answers to the OP's original question? I'm even willing to buy from an installer just to make the base stereo (non-HK) sound better. I realize that Mini has put out an Alpine kit, but the reviews have not been very inspiring..... so I'm looking for more local options.

I don't know of any, short of googling and reading reviews. Any speaker changes I've done on my cars have been DIY, but not on my MINI.
