Custom Skid Plates made
I make skid plate for E30s and other BMWs. I have been asked to make them for the Mini. I need a car. If you or some you know is local and is willing to help out your fellow enthusiast let me know. Thanks
Here is some of my work. I also make braces.

Looks like nice work, unfortunately I live too far away to be of much use. I'd definitely be interested in a brace when you're done though!

Where in PDX are you? How long would you need the car for? Would this double as the under car brace as well?

I would need the car for one day for mock up. then one more day later for final fit. With out looking at the car I can not tell if its doing to work as a brace but My gut is no. I would probably make two parts.
My shop is in Vancouver by the Vancouver Mall.

I'd volunteer my guy, he sits during the week as it is. The trick here would be how to get him over to ya. I live in NW Portland, only have one car.

I can pick it up and return it. And If I can have it for the week Then i can get it all done in one shot.
Let me know.
Or If you want to come to the shop I can run you home.

That'll work. Maybe you could pick him up on Sunday night or something? You'd be able to have him back by Friday?

Slow. I keep getting bumped for production runs. It will take a little more time but it will be worth it.

My pleasure, also probably interested in a set once they're done, especially the cross brace!

Ok I am done with the skid plate and have ten in stock ready to ship.
Made of 10 gauge steel these are very strong and add support as well as protection. $229 shipped

I can attest to the quality of his work, I have the prototype installed on my car!
The skid plate is nice, the cross brace is even nicer. Huge improvement in my car's handling, feels a lot more buttoned down/pulled together.
Good stuff here!
