www.pdxmini.org is ONLINE!

Greetings everyone! With some major assistance from Mark Ferguson, we now have our club website up and running. It's still in it's infancy, so it's kinda plain right now.
Please post any suggestions for the club website that you have here. We would like to make it as user friendly as possible. In the future, there will be a calendar of events as well as an area for the online newsletter. Got other ideas you'd like to see on our site? Well let us know!!
And with that, we bring you.....

Nate,
We got your application. Thank you! Both Kim and I have been busy with the holidays, but are now working on getting the membership under control.
We have the shirts all but ready to go for production. They will have the logo you see in my signature, but will be specific to your car (color combo and MC/MCS specific). I will post a link to the ordering in the next few days.
Also, we've been working to get more sponsors for the January rally to make it a truly wonderful event.
Kim is keeping a master list of the new members and can better tell you your member number. You are right near the top, if not #3 if I recall.
Feel free to email me any time at ryan@pdxmini.org .
Ta!

Hi Ryan,
I just joined PDX Mini Cooper Club. I've never been part of a car enthusiast club, but the MINI just makes you do things you wouldn't otherwise do.
I get my MC sometime in February and have been waiting since mid-November.
I'll check out the website often and hopefully meet you all once I get my baby.
Woo Hoo!

Hi there Needler!
What kind of Cooper did you get? Via Rasmussen?
We have a meeting this February 9th at Shanghai Noble House restaurant on Macadam. I'll email you the specifics. Would love to see you there as we're planning the next 6 months club activities.
Our next club run will be (most likely, hasn't been solidified yet) the last sunday of February....Old Gorge Hwy!!!

Hi all,
I have some questions about the new PDX mini club.
1) Is the club in anyway supported/authorized by Mini USA?
2) Are there club discounts (like the BMW ACA or CCA) for Mini parts at Rasmussen?
3) Is this club associated in any way with the Oregon Mini Society? Or the local ACA?
Reason why I ask is that I've owned a new 2002 Cooper S since last July... and also own a 1960 mini AND about half a dozen BMW's (hence I already am a member of the CCA and ACA).
I see many of of the events of PDXMini club are also events that the ACA and Oregon Mini Society are sponsoring or are involved in.
Are there any strictly PDX Mini club events?
I'm just wondering if I want to join or not.... being I'm already in 4 car clubs already!

Hello there! Curious if any of you live in Medford? I currently live in the Denver area (Mini5280.org club) but am considering a move to Medford. Any pros or cons about Medford would be helpful! I know I will miss having a large club nearby like I do here...but driving is half the fun...right?
Thanks
Lynn
