Where in PNW to go for aftermarket work?

Hi all of you in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in the Seattle Metro area. I just got my 05 MCS and I was wondering if anyone could or would recommend any shops for repair and aftermarket tuning. I don't know anything about MINI NW's reputation as a shop. Is any BMW shop OK?
Sure would appreciate any input.
Thanks!

are great. http://group2inc.com/. They've done a myriad of things for me, pulley, shocks/springs, camber plates, control arms, new head, header, injectors. Soon to add a new clutch and LSD to the mix.
Good set of guys.

Good to know Custard! I live right by there and always wondered what they did. Driving by and seeing some of the cars out front, it looks like a high end racing shop. I assumed minis might be beneath them.

Did you get your clutch done yet? Was it an upgrade situation or did you have "the noise" I've read so much about? How did they handle it?

I recommend you talk to Chris Cyree (email him at snowmansgarage at gmail dot com or PM him here via username snowmansgarage). He put in a Craven short shift kit and 15% pulley for me and did a great job.

He is a tech at the new Seattle MINI dealer and has also worked at Rasmussen MINI in Portland. The Service Manager at Rasmussen had great things to say about him, as did the folks at CravenSpeed and Mini Madness (I had to check out some references before I had him touch my "baby" :) ).

He works out of his house and does only modding work on MINIs. Nice guy, works fast and very reasonable prices. I'll definitely use him again.
