What market is this supposed to go after? The Cayman and Z4 Coupe? It sounds mighty good, but seems kind of steep, although it seems like a bargain compared to the NSX, 40 more hp at half the price... Then again, the NSX wasn't the ideal model for commercial success.

^^ ive heard rumors that they are bringing back "prelude" in a FR form...but not confirmed. Honda's
very hush hush about everthing... even the dealers can only speculate.
the RSX is probably going to be dropped and probably returning in a TSX
coupe form...

I was seriously considering an S2000 in the summer of 04....then Mini came out with a convertible. It was gonna be something like $36,000 for the S2000 or $29,000 for the Mini & insurance on the S2000 was $500 more a year for the S2000 so it was a no brainer to get an MSCS.
Evidently the S2000 didn't sell very well as I have only seen 2 or 3 on the road in my area. I would never have even considered the S2000 if it were not a convertible

love child of an S2000 and RX-8? I rather fancy the look and premise, 320hp put out by Honda's high-revving engines, an awesome transmission with buttery smooth shifts, and <3000lb weight. It should be pretty good. It really makes me think that this is what a 2-series M-car would have been.

I think that rear, three-quarter view looks more like an RX-8, too, but how is looking like one of the best cars to ever hit the road a bad thing??

Anyways, man, I wish the new RX-7 looked so good. Holy crap, I know what it's targeting, the new RX-7 and the new Supra... makes sense I think, probably more of the RX-7 than the Supra. Supras have never b

are well made but they aren't really 'FUN' to drive. too controlled, too
balanced, too conservative. in that regards, infinit is more in my ball park.
sti's and evo8's are too young for me now. mazda's are better for commuting
and kicking around.

You mean IS350?
EDIT: Never mind, just saw the article...that would be in a completely different league than the G35 though. The IS350 is already a bit more expensive than the G35.

I guess it's got more under the hood, though.(edit) I just noticed something... SH-AWD, why is a 4-wheel drive system on an S2000? Don't we all want our S2000s to oversteer us into the next life?
