Dammit. With the wife getting in an accident, and our house getting burglarized earlier this year, it's turning out to be not such a good year.

I was awaken last night by the sound of my doorbell @ 2am, only to find my neighbor, who coincidenatally is the same guy who saw the previous burglary... So my neighbor said 'hey man, there were just some doods in your truck...'.

Sure enough, the wife's truck is ransacked inside. The drivers side handle/lock/touchbad is broken, pried from the truck in a **** poor attempt to get inside, but the lock is ruined. Good for us, she cleaned her truck on Friday, and there was absoultely nothing inside of value except the normal 'stock' truck parts, and a $25 6 D-Cell maglight. As far as we can tell, only the maglight is missing.

BTW, absolutely not a fingerprint on the Mini, which I think is rather interesting, but I'm thankful none-the-less.

Seems they got in through the back camper shell window after failing to get in through the drivers door. And for some reason, the officer who responded didn't take prints. So I called the police again today, and spoke to a nice female seargent who explained prints on the exterior don't count, and to look for solid prints (on non-pourous surfaces), and if I find anybody, to call the non-emergency dispatcher. Found some on the back window, and inside rear passenger window, so hopefully it'll help I.D. these ***holes.

So frustrating tho. ARG!
