Awesome, would love to drive a car with one installed!

That is a beautiful shifter. At $2400.00 it is expensive. I would love to drive a car with a sequential shifter to see how it compares to a regular manual shifter.

I found another excellent shifter, though not sequential, made by CAE. It uses the same shift pattern as your MINI but provides more precise and more notchy shifts with shorter throws. It isn't cheap either, around $1000.00. There are several videos on YouTube.
.

3 concerns on both shifters:
  • the height of the shift ****
  • the overall "industrial" look of them
  • the affect on resale although i am not planning to sell my MINI

Agreed. I'd like to try one. I think it would be fun. Just can't imagine a scenario where I would have that much extra money to throw at my daily driver. "Sorry, son, daddy's got to have a sequential shifter for his mid-life crisis quasi sports car. You don't actually need braces on your teeth, right?
