A car that a normal human can wrench on. Bravo, a really nice looking car.

Having wrenched on and modified this ride for 30 years now, thanks for the kudos. My MINI is a whole new adventure. 30 years from now, I may know a bit more about my MINI. Lol.

Nice! My first car was also a 67 Chevelle. Not quite as nice as yours though

I got lucky with my Chevelle, as she is an original California car. She did get driven to New Jersey early in her life, and spent a year or two there. Then she was brought back to Cali. There were some minor rust issues, but she went back to bare metal and was completely re-worked using factory original panels, with the exception of the panel behind the rear window. That is the only aftermarket metal on the body. I hate going back east, no offense. It just sucks to see the toll taken on old iron (some not so old) when salt is used on snowy/icy roads. Where I came from, Western PA, we had winter cars and summer cars. The winter cars rotted away while the summer cars stayed in the garage all winter.

More pics? Sure! As far as the engine bay goes, she will soon have chrome-kinda-looking ceramic coated headers replacing the current rusty old crappy ones.

No offense taken. The salt here sucks! I’ve stopped driving my MINI in the winter because of that.

The closest I got to owning one of those great cars was a test drive of a ‘69 Z28 with about 46k miles on it. That was 1973 and at the time I couldn’t afford the ~$1700 they wanted for it. But knowing what I know today, I know that I would have driven it in the winter and it would have been a bucket of rust in 3 years. And I would be kicking myself today for not having taken better care of it. But who would have guessed back then the increase in interest in that car over the years.

So, Excellent Find! And nicely done on the resortation!

Beautiful Chevelle! American muscle is something I've always loved, but haven't gotten into. Owning one of some variety is on my bucket list!

And I will agree with the above on the salt! At least PA isn't quite as bad as NY and NJ. We see a lot of stuff from there come into work from the auction and it gets sent right back. 10 or 12 year old vehicles that look great up top, but some of them I've been scared to even put on the lift! My wife's Mini will be winter driven, but it's far from a creampuff, just a relatively cheap and fun daily for her. I do try to keep my e46 Touring out off the winter roads. I travelled a good distance to get a clean one and endeavor to keep it that way. I have 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee for winter duties.
