Today was 'Brit Car' day.

It was also 'Brit Weather' day, at 6:40 when I got in my car it told me that the temp was 44F, it was also somewhat damp - a perfect summers day back in the motherland......

Next life, I'm showing up at a car show in a Carrera 6. Oh my.

 

That was a nice little gathering. I am glad I rolled out of bed. I really liked the Purple V-Tec Classic. If I am ever back down here on a Saturday I will defiantly go again. Nice to meet you and thanks for the directions. We drove up the PCH and then cut inland at Santa Monica.

 

Very cool cars this week. This car looks like something straight out of the movie Cars.

 

Nice classic mini's. They're lookin good.

Thank goodness you posted pics of the Aston-I saw it in the corner of an earlier pic and was looking for it. I know it's a Zagato but is it a DB-2 or 3?-whichever-it's very rare.

 

Not enough MG's. But the LeMans MGA... oh my!

 

Its a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato Berlinetta , the last one to sell was sold for $2.6M

It is also a Pebble Beach Concourse winner. 1st in class - N-4

a $2+M Aston Martin cruising the freeways of the OC-I'll never be able to relate to that-it's great they still get driven (same thing for the Carerra 6-now that must have been a fun trip home!)
