Props to DentPro of Marin/Sonoma

Just wanted to say that Tim and Scott of the Marin/Sonoma franchise of Dentpro are tops at what they do.

I knew that the best places used Tim, who's been doing paintless dent removal for many many years, and went out of my way to take my car to Marin to have him do it since I felt confident that he could be trusted to do a top notch job. I was a bit concerned when I ended up with his employee Scott that he would not be up to Tim's skill but he proved himself to be patient and exacting - just what a perfectionist like myself requires

The tough location didn't hinder him and the car looks a million percent better without the nasty ding - many thanks to them and I can heartily recommend either Scott or Tim

PS: Usage hint for everbody from Dentpro -

Do not close the hatch using the handle or metal part, they see lots of hatch cars with dents as a result (the edge of the grab handle, the metal buckling around the edges where you might use leverage to close it). He told me to use the glass to shut the hatch with and it seems to work well - only bad side effect is finger prints

Where was your dent? -- you mentioned that it was in a difficult location to reach..

My sales guy showed me how to close the boot hatch by using the MINI logo as a place to push - it might be a good substitute for the glass (no prints).

It was in the hatch area but caused from something else

Honestly, I don't know about the advise re: using the logo to close with. The Mini logo in on top of a convex metal area and I'd think be susceptible to denting in as anywhere on the metal. I think I'll listen to the dent guys and use the glass, I can live with prints
