Are You Ready for Las Vegas!!

Who will step up and organize the "MINI" carvan down into Vegas:thumbsup: ?
Anyone? Anyone?

I will be coming down from Portland early Wednesday morning and stay the night somewhere close by the starting point near East Bay MINI.
I have my own friends and outlaws that want to know when and where.
This year I'll be in my 'Yellow Drop". I'm planning to meet up with NorCal MINIs and maybe some REME for the run down to Fresno to meetup with MedCal MINIs and then picking up MINIs all along the way to Vegas.

So, who's going?? Should we start a "Roll Call"?

Let me know,
And stay safe!!
Keith:grin:

You're not bringing the classic this year?

Nope,
I love that car, but "Oh" the miles I did in MTTS and why push my luck with it  .
MTTS was once in a life time for me and my Classic.
Hopefully the next MTTS, I'll have my 2008 BRG MINI Traveller.

And sometimes you just want to be one of the crowd, yea right    .

Hope the folks from Bishop, CA come down with their Classic. They have a real sweet Classic  .

See you soon,
Keith:grin:

mini pooper 01-02-2007 06:34 PM

Keith,

You will never be "just one of the crowd"..... forever an inspiration!

Agro 01-03-2007 08:58 AM

Keith, you can't win "favorite car" at AMVIV with the Classic if the classic doesn't attend!
I'm planning on having mine at Palace Station.

MiniRacerRick 01-11-2007 04:36 AM

Hi Keith......

Larry & Tammi are back in the East Bay now, so we should be
getting something together for the trip down sometime soon.

Hope all is well in the wet NorthWest corner of our great country!

Rick

Keith:grin:

MiniRacerRick 01-12-2007 04:13 AM

Brrrr....
the high was 36? when i got home a little bit ago....(look at the time of this post).......
my outside temp read 33 degrees and everything in the parking lot
here at the condo was frozen over completely. Still, a daytime high of 36 is
bloody cold!

See you soon........Motor Safe

Rick

Here in Vegas, it was actually SNOWING at lunchtime! Some of the flakes may have made it to the ground on my side of town, but I'm sure the west side has some accumulation. I moved here from Nebraska to get away from this white crap, and it's snowed 5 out of the 6 calendar I've been here!

MiniRacerRick 01-12-2007 02:05 PM

Hey Ag......

i've heard that it's been so cold there at one time that the big
fountain in front of The Mirage froze up......

NOW THAT'S COLD

MiniRacerRick 01-12-2007 02:11 PM

Now You Did It Keith........

that cold weather you had blew down here and
now it's freezing cold, windy, and sunny here
in the Bay Area....and for the next few days too

Rick

Greetings again Keith......

You have a place lined up to stay Wednesday night
when you get into town?

Carol is forwarding all inquiries about group travel to
AMVIV from this area to me as she and Greg are not
going this year. I have contacted some of the NorCal
members already and they are going to be keeping an
eye on this thread as we establish a departure time from
East Bay Mini really early on Thursday morning the 22nd.

Soooooooo..................let me know how things are doing
up there and I'll be in touch soon my friend.

Rick

MID CAL caravan info.

We met them last year and had breakfast.

Who is up for a early start ???

>>> QUOTE
MidCal AMVIV Caravan-Thursday March 22nd
We will meet up at Denny's for a 9:30am sharp departure.

Denny's
1121 Parkway Drive, Fresno
Next to the Days Inn.
Its off of Hwy. 99 and Olive Ave. Parkway is the Frontage road on the westside of 99, and is 1/2 block south.

I will be there at 8am for breakfast.

We will head to Visalia, and then Bakersfield to pick up others that want to join us.
Visalia-99 and Caldwell, at the Shell Station.
Bakersfield-58 and Weedpatch, at Taco Bell.

From there we will head to Barstow to meet up with any SoCal MINI's.
Should be the Outlet Mall, as always.

Then on to Vegas

Brad

I just checked Mapquest ..

2 1/2 hours from East Bay Mini to dennys Fresno.

So if we want to eat breakfast with MID CAL it looks like 6 AM at East bay

Thats 2 1/2 hours of travel time and 1 hour to eat.

mini pooper 02-01-2007 07:14 AM

I see that there are several caravans being organized for the migration to Lost Wages (AMVIV4). Looks like there will be a bunch from REME, NorCal, MidCal, MINI Mavericks, and others. Looks like people will be departing at different times and on different dates. It's always more fun and safer to travel in a group.

Perhaps it would be wise to establish a "central" thread on NAM and list the days of the week, and who from northern California is leaving. This would give everyone a chance to find a group to join up with.
