Keith wanted his Minis to go to his sons in Florida. His ex wife has contacted the club requesting the names of good, reliable shipping companies. Does anyone out there know of any? Need some help here guys :thumbsup:

You might try contacting Julie @ Classic MINI. They do a lot of shipping across the country.

I've used United Road (http://www.unitedroad.com/) to ship cross country and I was extremely pleased with them.

I have the greatest carrier for you. He delivered our second MINI from Florida to Healdsburg in 4 days for around $800.00. Its likely cheaper going that direction because most cars are being shipped west.
It is an open air transport, but I personally don't think that is a problem... our car was shipped with one of Will Smith's cars.

But MINIs are significantly cheaper in Florida than here. It would make more sense to sell his here and buy one just like it there and his son may make around $4000 to $5000.

I had execllant service from http://www.intercitylines.com/ when i shipped my car from Westchester Ny to L.A CA. Fully enclosed trailer with very timely transport. Two of my cars trailer mates were later dropped off a Jay Leno's hanger :)

Thanks Peter. Dollar wise it probably would make more sense to sell here and buy there. But I think there's some sentimental value working here that is probably priceless so I'm sure they'll want to ship. :thumbsup:
