My wonderful new Mini should be in my hands within a month and I'm looking forward taking her out and getting to know the Mini community. I should be motoring by the end of July.

Could someone please share with me any gatherings or whatnot? Thanks

 

A lot of MA/NH people post in the New England region of www.MINI2.com and there are also a few on www.NEMINI.org. For some reason the NY/NE section of NAM has been really quiet lately.

 

You just missed a northeastern CT gathering (6/26), but there's an upcoming MAMA gathering at the end of July....http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87182

Also, Ian (www.gbmini.net) is going to arrange a fund raiser for one of the MAs up at MINI of Peabody who recently had a tragic boating/diving accident and is in need of help. Watch there +/or Ian's site for details.

 

Thanks for the help guys. I'll have to check out that MAMA event, my car will be coming about a week before then, and a nice 1 hr. drive out there on the weekend will be nice.

It's so sad what happened to Keith (my MA!). I really hope things go well for him during his recovery. Check my sig for his fundraising site.

yeh, congrats on your new ride. Like they said, most of the Mass/NH
events are found on Mini2.com. Relax, because it usually takes 10 months to
get an event going. I know some drivers are trying to organize a trip to the Milford NH Drive In. They been bickering about the date, time and movie to watch for about 3 months now! I check the post every few weeks to see if
they got a date yet.yawn...last time I checked, they HAD a date, but one of them has plans to rearrange his sock drawer that day, so now they have to re-schedule
By the time this one gets off the ground, we'll be shoveling snow
