I just think it's cool that you can "tune" the intake sound with the M7 setup. What did M7 ever do to you?

I have read that any intake system that has hood mounted scoop, will not work with strut bar. Kind of the reason why I was leaning to the M7.
M7 quality not good?

Hey guys sorry I've been super busy lately and haven't been on as much. Dave I saw you at the track last night and I feel your pain on launching. My first run was great I think 14.658 but I had 3 more runs in and somehow managed to get a little worse each time.

I've been thinking about the AEM intake. The GT-Spec strut brace will work with either the DDM or AEM intakes.

Here is a review for the AEM intake.

Also no time for a meet this week. And Ryan and I agreed about the M7 stuff - looks like he makes it in his garage - right next to where they produce all of the product videos.

@mziol - My degree says I'm a mechanical engineer, but my job tells me that I teach kids how to make robots. Kind of a cool gig, but I need projects to keep my brain from going mushy. LOL

I have skills in ProE/Creo, Inventor, and SolidWorks and every now and again I try to remember how to use Ansys - LOL . I'd like to learn Catia one of these days, but software is PRICEY. LOL

From the rumors I've heard about M7 tuning is that they manufacture parts per order or wait for multiple orders before manufacturing.

Nick, you are a LEGO robotic engineer...

Doesn't look like it would. Don't you already have the JCW air box?

I am not a huge fan of M7 mainly on the prices. I think their products are nice though, aside from the bulky wing.

The wing is bulky. Kind of dig the rear diffuser, but I'm not sure I would have made it stick out past the rear bumper as far as they did... To each their own, I guess.

I've been happy with the handling characteristics from my rear sway bar. The only thing I don't like about it is the name. ALTA. hmmmmmmm... Pfffft...

That run was 94.24 but the other three were more like 91-92.5

On a side note I see a lot of people are saying that they are getting better performance from just a drop in high flow filter? Input??

I was going to try one of the new high flow dry filters but was told it wouldn't give any increase. I still might give in a shot. I think it's more of a placebo effect.
