I'll try to get there! I've never been to a ren fair - but my friend goes to them all the time. Sound s like a blast! Where exactly is everyone meeting?

OK,

It looks like the weather is going to work with us on Sunday, Sept. 7th.

For those who want to meet up and actually ATTEND the Ren Faire:
-meet up time is at 10am in either of the two parking lots
-We can stay there until around 2pm or 3pm, besides most of what happens
at the Ren Faire usually happens by that time anyway
-Upon leaving the RenFaire grounds, meet up with the other MINI owners who
"copped out" of the Faire and start the rally

For those who want to meet up after the Faire:
-about 2pm, find the MINI cluster in the parking lot of those who
attended the Faire
-get ready to rally

It's a very good idea for everyone to keep in touch with the radios - both inside and outside of the Faire. Again, anyone who would like to plan the route for the rally, BE MY GUEST. BTW, there might be a clash of cultures...the PT Cruisers at Ren Faire (copycats) was supposed to be last week from what I hear...however, they rescheduled for this weekend also. Let's make this our event, Braveheart style...hahahahaha, later.

I am in for the rally, if Koolmini wants to do a run before the 2 pm meet I am also game just say when and where.

 

Is there still a drive on for after the fair? Where are the fairgrounds? May I please have an address or name place so that I can get driving directions?

Is the parking lot small enough that MINI's are likely to find MINI's for the drive?

I went motoring in Harriman today., WOW. Gorgeous weather, great roads, a fine day. The drive up P{erkins was gorgeous.

And, side bar maybe, but has anyone seen or heard from HARMINI? I think she wanted to go, but she seems to have fallen off the face of the planet.

It'sgonna be a great day to get down with those funky medival-lovin' hippies on Sunday.

Like I said, at 10am, those going into the fair will meet & park at THE SECOND PARKING LOT. If there is a problem, the first lot is ok too.

Those coming for the RALLY ONLY should find the rest of the MINIs and park nearby them at 2-230 or so.

Gimme a call tomorrow if there are any problems 201-563-8165. Hope to see everyone there!

Me and GMINI are out. We are in Montauk catching the surf and womens. Its like MINI heaven up here, we passed 10 MINIs yesterday and saw two classic minis, one driving, one parked. Also saw the usual Hampton exotics....ferraris are like civics here. Megz stopped by for dinner, am typing this from GMINI's beach house on my pocket pc. Time to hit the waves again...looks like they are only 6 feet again. Have fun at the Renn Faire.... -- Ant

Drove thru Tuxedo Park... dam I luv that place
Drove to the Ren fair.
The line to make the left was close to a mile long @ about 12 noon.
I turned around and drove home :smile:
