Lowering Springs Question

I have 2009 Mini Cooper S with a racing sway bar, race intake system and strut braces and looking into lowering the car to make the handling a little better. Any suggestions on the brand? I've decided not to lower the car any more then 1 inch.

I have NM Alpha springs on my 2012 MCS, and think they're great.

I think they may be just over an inch lower, though. Not radical, just enough to close up the factory wheel gap to make it look proper. I have factory sport suspension, I don't sense the ride quality being different than stock, maybe a little stiffer on the big "whumps" but that's all.

So..... How are you liking your new lowered ride?

Finally got the springs on the car

It took a while but the springs are on the car. I ended up going with the Eibach pro kit springs. The kit dropped the car about 1 1/2". I can now take the corners faster. The sport springs made the overall ride firmer, which is good. Now I just need to get struts. The only draw back to the kit is that the back end of the car is sitting higher than the front. Mini made the geomatry of the car higher in back then in front, which is more noticeable now.

By the way, I was too lazy to log out of matson's account, this is actually Shaun.
