Adding HK Tweeters

I have a 2013 Countryman SD with a base audio system. I bought a pair of HK tweeters on Ebay. I'm not expecting a dramatic improvement
but I just like the look of them.

I'm a complete novice with car audio systems and was wondering if I could just splice in to the door speaker wires to get some sound output? Here's my car:

Doubtful that it will work and provide proper sound. You need crossovers, etc. to send the correct signals to the tweeters or a new amp and more... They aren't even good tweeters to finish off the equation.
