So question! I have seen a lot of 2nd gen minis with double din aftermarket radios installed. Ever seen one with connect and auto temp controls? I have buttons to control climate not ***** and mini connect and I don't like it as much as when I had my pioneer z140. Just getting your thoughts.

 

Anything can be done, it just matters how much you want to spend. I know that if you have the stock stereo system everything is made way easier to replace! The h/k system sounds great from the factory but there is little to nothing you can change on it because the system is so complicated.

I don't see why the climate controls and MINI Connected should make a difference

Cause Metra is the only people that I can find that makes a dash kit. And its only available with the manual controls, not with the buttons.
