Radio turns on after car is turned off
 

Hi there. My 2006 R52 is having some electrical problems I think. After my car is turned off my radio/aux turns back on by itself. When I turn it off again, it turns back on. This keeps happening, until finally it will turn off. For a while. I periodically check on it to see if it’s still off but it usually is turned on. This morning I had to jump my car because the battery was drained! Has anyone had this problem before? If so, what did you do to fix it?

From what I’ve read so far about mine, the radio can be turned back on for up to 20 minutes after the car is shut off. (I haven’t tried it yet)

Does yours come back on after the 20 minute time out? If not, I suspect a radio problem; if so I’d look at the power circuit for the radio.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a cell phone charger or other accessory in the car? I came across a thread here where a Qi charger was causing weird problems.
