Audio upgrade - amp location options

I'm currently working on replacing the speakers and adding an amp to goose the volume a bit. I am also adding a line converter. I never use the rear seat and keep them folded down all the time. So my thought is to mount the amp and line converter to the floor behind the passenger seat. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if I will run into anything when I penetrate the floorboard with the mounting screws. I see there are panels covering the underside but I haven't tried to remove them yet to look.

Many, many thanks in advance.

My amp is in the trunk secured with Velcro industrial strips as I didn't want to drill. Hasn't moved a bit.

Velcro! That is actually quite genius. I'm guessing the strips with the hooks are on the bottom of the amp and they simply catch on the carpet? That's brilliant. Thanks for the idea, Minnie.the.Moocher!

No carpet where I installed, so I don't guarantee success.

Thanks Minnie. I'll conduct some experiments.
