MINI Connected disconnection issues

hi all! I’ve got a 2019 MINI Clubman and was so excited about the MINI Connected and Bluetooth capabilities. Until I used it.... If I receive a call, I lose all connectivity. If there is another Bluetooth device in the car, I lose connectivity. If I’m wearing my Apple Watch, I lose connectivity. For an added bonus, it will randomly reset. The only way to fix the issue is to unpair, forget the device, and repair my iPhone 8 to the MINI. It’s a pain!!! I recently had a short 3 hour road trip and had to unpair and repair the phone 5 times in order to continue to use Audible. No matter what app I’m using, it happens.

Im so disappointed!!!!!!!! Any suggestions?

Make sure your phone is up to date (iOS 12.0.1 as of this writing), and restart your phone the next time it gets wonky like that. I’ve had to don’t be Bluetooth reboot a couple of times. Power cycle on the phone sorted it out, though I haven’t had to do it on the latest iOS yet so maybe it’s resolved.
