Replacement speakers are meh. looking at PowerBass

So, I blew 1 of my door woofers on my 11 r56 with HK system. I used Infinity Reference REF-6532ex. When I have volume up and the fader even with the bass around -3 I farts and pops from these.

I was looking at https://powerbassusa.com/us/en/produ...-7-full-range/
The dimensions look like they should fit. Im just curious if anyone has used these or any input.

This says it's 2 Ohms. My OEM speakers said they are 4 Ohm (2 Ohm for the system if the speakers are overlapped in parallel, I guess). Can the stock head unit for sure handle 2 Ohm speakers?

I've got some pretty good sound coming from some cheap 6.5" Pioneer A-series component speakers. Not always loud enough for me (depending on the song) until I get an amp in there, but they are solid and distortion free. 'Course, I added some 4" coaxials to recover some of the mid-tones, and those have distorted under loud bass - will see if these inline HPFs fix that.

If they are clipping, that usually indicates the amp doesn't have enough juice..

It's not clipping more like a fart. I think Of course if the signal is too strong on the bass she does it. Only 1 or both new speakers I put in. I was thinking of getting a set of components and just using the woofers, but not sure if thats a good idea.

I resolved that speaker thing. I bought a set of JBL components and used the woofers alone. Im very impressed with the over sound quality now. Could use a sub but this rocks.
