Anyone retrofit MINI Head Up Screen?
 

I stumbled upon an old classified ad for the MINI Head Up Screen Retrofit kit. I was wondering if anyone has installed on in their 2nd gen MINIs?

I'm a huge fan of HUDs and love my Navdy, but it doesn't fit that well in the MINI and the company support is now dead.

I did find this post from the F56 forum, but their dash pad is totally different and doesn't provide a useful comparison to a R56.

Thanks! I was hoping it would look a little less awkward on the 2nd gens. I was wrong. :)

Maybe behind the wheel it looks perfect but my OCD would go nuts looking at it off-angle.

Yes, i bet you can make it set down a little more the R55-R59 dash has a ridge to it which you are looking on the back side of it.

I am so keen on this device, its just a pity that the app for navigation to drive it no longer exists. I have heard of talk about having it work with the factory NAV (which is what you would think it would do by default..crazy i know!) but i haven't seen or heard of any developments.
If this worked with Google Maps everything would be wonderful!

Hello there, there's no way to download the installation instructions, would You be so kind to send them by a private message or submit a new working link??
I'm desperate because I received a brand new Head-Up display but without the correct instructions.
