Sorry, I didn't mean the cradle... I was hoping these cradles connected to the back of the rev counter, simliar to how the extra guages attach in some vehicles.

They connect to the dash not the TACH.

Here's what we have.

You can see my cell phone holder in the picture (left-side of the center console), but I forgot my celly-cell when I took the picture.

thats a nice setup, but A. I don't want to turn my head to look at the pod, thats what makes the add on so tempting.. and B: I hate sticky tape on dashes etc... personal prefrence, I basically want this http://outmotoring.com/cgi-bin/image...uagepod_md.jpg
with flat sides to attach a phone and Ipod holder...

I hear you chollomo. I've been looking for the same thing, a simple dock type mount next to the tach.

Aside from fabricating your own, I haven't seen one yet.

Good luck.

Yeah I thought about going to http://www.emachineshop.com/and having one made, (my wife is pretty good with autocad, and there program is suippose to be wasy to make.. but It taeka lot more time and money than I have to do. The Air flow mod is a nice solotion, but I'd prefer to nto lose any functionality in the car..

soo Hey MINI MODDING COMPANIES!!! Make us one and We'll Buy it.., 40 bucks would do the trick. Nothing Fancy, Just a Tach Rack we can attach anything we deem nessesary too it not just gauges!

Thanks for the emachineshop link. I've been looking for a company that does this for awhile.

Also, while this isn't the same location, I made a simple mount using a universal cell phone holder and 3 suction cups to mount my TMobile Sidekick II phone/PDA.

emachine shop is the best.. I saw a guy buuild his own portable playstion with the site... Your setup is pretty cool, I like the sidekicks, I wish they made one for attwireless. This might work for a temp solotion, but I'm still holdign out for the Tach rack idea to come about. I still have to wait for Moss to send me my aux adapter, it's only been 2 months.

Most ingenious mount I've seen, although not what you are looking for, it does bring it to eye level.

You know I could probably do a simple bar back there if I knew the type of screw that goes into the back of the tach, and then jsut buy a longer one? Not quite as elegant as other solution but it woudl work... anybody have any idea what type of screw is back there so I don't mess up the thread?
