CD Changer for 2017 Countryman
Dear forum,
I have a 2017 Cooper Countryman (base). My wife really likes CDs. I started looking for multi-CD Changer information, but a) I don't see any decent brands in the market, am I wrong? and b) If I manage to find one, is it possible to install it in the trunk? Is there wiring? Has anyone attempted this?
Thank you in advance.

Yes you definitely posted in the wrong section of NAM and your wife needs an audio intervention. Rip all your CD's to a USB stick and be done with the CD technology. Why not have hundreds of CD's in your car instead of 1-6 ? Cost you less than $20.
Several time a year someone makes a post similar to yours and we can usually beat some sense into them.

You'll spend less paying a service to rip all her CDs to digital files, put on a USB drive and have them accessible to any device than you would spend on a CD changer by itself. Newer MINIs can read tens of thousands of digital music files off a USB drive at once, sorted by artist, album, or song title

Yep, no factory options or retrofit for the Gen 3, the Gen 2 MINI its was an option and that was the last time they had them. It would have to be aftermarket and I dont know how they would tap in, may wire into the usb/aux input.
I remember the factory CD changer option on my Gen 1 and the MiniDisc option...lol

I seem to remember the 2014 F56 had a 5-disc changer that went in the glove box, but it had such a low take rate, they killed it off pretty quickly.
