iPhone 84212365786 Universal Snap In Adapter

I own a 2016 JCW Mini Cooper.

Is the 84212365786 iPhone Universal Snap In Adapter the same for a Mini Cooper and a BMW? The reason I am asking is because ECS Tuning shows two different parts numbers for the 84212365786 iPhone Universal Snap In Adapter. They show the Genuine Mini as their number ES#2817548 for $260.82 and the Genuine BMW as their number ES#2848839 for $227.63. They both carry the same manufacturer part number 84212365786. You can buy the BMW 84212365786 from eBay for $186.43

I love shopping at ECS, prices are always great, except for OEM parts.
Dealers usually beat them. Especially dealers on eBay.

I contacted my local BMW/Mini dealer today. The Parts Dept. told me the 84212365786 iPhone Universal Snap In Adapter is the same for either a BMW or Mini Cooper. They quoted me a price of $270.00. If I move forward, I will buy from the BMW dealer on eBay that has a price of $186.53. Interesting that ECS shows two different internal part numbers for the same 84212365786 BMW part number. One for BMW ($227.63) and one for a Mini Cooper ($260.82).
