How to implement Cassette Deck in 2003 R53
Hey, y'all! I've had my R53 2003 Cooper S for about two years now, and the CD player part of the radio recently stopped functioning (won't read/play CDs). However, I've got several cassette tapes, some of which I made myself, and was wondering if there's a way to install a cassette tape deck/radio in the Mini instead of replacing the same CD Player/Radio part? The parts I've found on Ebay and other sites don't match the port that my current radio has, so I was wondering if there was some sort of adapter I could use, or if there's a way to wire the cassette deck manually in?
For context, the first photo is the back of exact model of radio I have right now; the second one is a stock photo of every Mini cassette deck I've found online for sale. Notice the ports on the right do not match.

gotta love the mixtapes!
When I first got my R53 was thinking of getting a tapedeck too but never followed through...

...if you look you can find the flat pin Boost units though:

Yes, those were so rare. You can get them from MINI still. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...5126943422~kt/
I have seen a couple of these on MINIs back in the day as well as the super rare Mini disc, its nla now.
MINI even did and Aprils fools on it for the F56

Old school cassette love. If you have the old tapes it matters.
