2015 mini cooper base head unit watts
Does any one know the watts of the base stereo i just put 2 12" in my mini n the factory stereo isnt very loud i was wanting to update the speakers n add a amp for the high end to even it out ik there alpine stereos n neither alpine nor my mini dealer can give me specs on the head unit its self i would update the stereo but idk how i would check the oil sense theres no dip stick etc as far as i can see theres just the door speakers n the 2 under the seat im going to add my own in the rear for highs i just duno what the stock head unit puts out as far as watts

Not sure if this is a joke or not, but your stock unit puts out about 5w. It doesn't need to be updated. You can put a 2 channel amplifier to run the front speakers or look at bavariansoundwerks kits. Also please tell me you aren't running 2 12"s off your mini's stereo...
