HK enabler ordered, back up camera Q's etc.
 

Howdy all,
After surfing around here looking at stereo upgrade bits I came across some posts about the HK enabler. Sounds perfect for what I wanted. So, I've ordered one which will be shipped some time in January.

I've been looking at new head units and I love the idea of the singe-din units with the motorized touch screen and input for a back up camera. The biggest complaint I have with my R52 is really, really poor vision out the back when the top is up. The problem I see is I don't think the screen will clear the facade for the speedometer. So I thought I'd ask if anyone has installed a system like this in a Gen 1 and if there were significant fitment issues. If so, it seems I'll just pop a decent bluetooth head unit in there and go on. I've read some of the minor wiring issue with the HKE and I'm not terribly concerned.
