Siri for Navigation?

I have a new 2015 2 door Cooper S with Media Package and Visual Boost along with several other packages. Voice command is working fine with Siri on my iPhone 5s via bluetooth except for navigation. All other Siri functions seem to be working fine.

If I tell Siri to navigate to XYZ location using the Mini's voice command, she will do so on the iphone but the audible turn by turn instructions will not play on the car's audio system.

If I change the audio source from Mini to iPhone on my 5s, the audio will indeed come from the iPhone. Is there a way to have the turn by turn instructions to play thru the Harman Kardon audio?

Humm, my 2012 Clubman S does just fine. I wonder if something did change. I wouldn't put it past Apple breaking a function as I have seen this many times.

You've probably figured this out by now but for the benefit of new MINI owners, to allow your iPhone to transmit nav voice guidance to your MINI's audio system via Bluetooth, do the following while you are in your MINI and your phone is connected to it via Bluetooth:

1. Plug in directions to wherever on your iPhone.
2. After the directions load up, hit the Bluetooth icon on the lower right hand corner to get to some settings.
3. Verify that your MINI is connected (it's the one with a tick mark)
4. Immediately below it, turn on "Allow HFP Prompts"
